About Lysterfield, VIC

Lysterfield (Boonwurrung: Waralk-warrabin) is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 32 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Knox and the Shire of Yarra Ranges local government areas. Lysterfield recorded a population of 6,681 at the 2021 census. == History == The area around Lysterfield was first settled in 1838. Initially it was part of Narre Warren, but was named Lysterfield in 1874 when land was set aside for a primary school. At this time, Lysterfield included what is now Rowville. The land was primarily used for farming. Lysterfield Road is one of the major blackspots in Victoria. When the Victorian State Government fixed it, it cost $2.3m. Further along that road is the City of Knox Avenue of honour, which was first planted in 1918–19 in recognition of First World War veterans. This is a group of pine trees.

Direct point removed an old electric heater, installed a reverse cycle airconditioner, replaced lights and power points in our apartment. They started work immediately after confirming their quote, communicated with me on when they would attend and what they were doing. They cleaned up and left the property neat and explained issues around the rebate on the AC which they would do on my behalf. Overall an excellent experience and would highly recommend them.

When I first moved into my house, I had some basic works done (new GPOs, data point, TV hang etc.). A year later, I called these guys back for a full electrical rough-in and fit-off of a garage-to-home business conversion (pics don't really do the scope justice, but you get the idea). The quality, punctuality, and responsivity were all of the same high standard I'd experienced earlier. Nothing had changed. Surprising, since typically when smaller companies get bigger, they drop the ball on all this stuff. Not Dean and his crew. These guys epitomise the "no job too big or small" catchline. Call them.
